After weeks...months....of hard work and preparations.....Tom & Kat are finally on the boat and settling in. We are both exhausted and Mother Nature has helped us make our decision easy to delay our departure from the dock ...just a little bit. Two days of heavy rains that are now replaced with cooler temps and winds. We are getting much needed R&R today.Kathy doing a little blogging.
Tom has a Longmire ebook and Kathy has this new book she started.
We are both napping in between listening to the wind whistling thru the rigging. We keep saying we are glad we stayed. We have lots of yummy provisions of fruits, meals & tasty treats ....some vacuum sealed.
We will go for a long walk later.
It was wonderful & fun to have a "Funky Pelican" breakfast yesterday with the Peeps, we even wrote on the famous chalkboard.
When we do get underway we have a St. Brendan Medal to watch over and protect us. Thank you peeps Joan & Michael for such a thoughtful gift.
We will give an update tomorrow on anticipated departure. Hopefully small craft warnings will disappear soon.
