KEYS....We have arrived

Anchor up in Lake Sylvia at 9am and headed outside with the big boats and cruise ships. Manatee sighting on the way out, they are too quick for pics. Breakfast of Kashi, date, orange & yogurt. Tom not a fan of the "twigs" so he was glad I had granola left. Winds were 5-10 kts out of the northeast. We were able to sail more than half way & motorsailed the rest. Once we were off Miami the water started changing to the beautiful aquamarine color we love. When we finished dropping the sails, before we made our turn to go in to our anchorage a boat rounded near us and asked if we were familiar with the waters in and asked if they could follow us. We said sure!Their boat is called "igood" They ended up anchoring near us and came over to thank us for helping them. They invited us to their boat for a cocktail & enjoy the sunset. They bought a boat in the US and are sailing it back to their home in Trinidad. They are a lovely couple and we had a very enjoyable evening sharing adventure stories. They told us we were their first guests on their new boat which is beautiful. It is a Jeanneau 49DS.They sent us a video via Facebook which I shared.
